The fee is to cover the cost of lost or damaged DVDs and videos and to purchase more videos for your enjoyment. For those who signed on prior to June 1, 2006, the current membership fees do not apply and they can continue to rent videos as they have in the past with all videos now due 15 days from the date of order.
